| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Rotary Club of Burton-Middlefield Receives Grant from the Pentair Foundation September 22, 2005
On September 22, 2005 the Burton-Middlefield Rotary received a grant from the Pentair Foundation for $2500.00 for it's Geauga AED Project. This grant brings the total funds raised by the Rotary for Automated External Defibrillators (AED's) for Geauga County to $62,096.10. The Burton-Middlefield Rotary has already supplied 18 AED's to the Geauga County Sheriff's Office and 12 more were distributed to the following offices: Chardon (4), Burton (2), Chesterland (2), Russell (2), Thompson (1), South Russell (1). This grant will provide 2 additional units to be distributed to Geauga County law enforcement vehicles. The additional units will bring the total to 32 AED's supplied to Geauga County first responders by the Rotary. For More Information Contact: |
